New signs at Old Harbor Wildlife Refuge and Brookside Conservation Area
Have you been looking for The Old Harbor Wildlife Refuge, but driven right by it? Take another drive along Old Harbor Road, look to the river side of the road (east), and stop by the area for a quick walk.

The Brookside Conservation Area on the east side of Route 88 along Route 177 is easier to find now that there is a new roadside sign. Stop by and view the Bread and Cheese Brook from the water’s edge – there are not many places in town where we can all so easily visit this significant cold stream habitat.
